how 3 By Anne Helene October 13, 2009 - 8 h 49 min

In this season of strawberries, this is not very serious or very green.
Well yes! gariguette of the Plougastel Daoulas 4 € uro 500 g on the market.
Even greener than eating mangoes from Peru!
I never really go to a list for my market. I decide my menu based on products I discovered on the shelves and I take and promotions.
So, these strawberries Chusclan. They arrive?

Gariguette en soupe

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 750 g strawberries Gariguette
  • 100g sugar
  • 25cl wine Chusclan
  • A quarter of a vanilla bean
  • 10 leaves of lemon balm (citronella)

Remember to cut your lemon balm finely.

  1. Wash Gariguette, remove the stems and cut them in half lengthwise.
  2. Crush the vanilla and sugar all in a blender
  3. Finely chop the lemon balm leaves and place the strawberries in a large bowl and pour the Chusclan . Add the vanilla sugar and lemon balm and hop in the fridge for 30 minutes.

And a quick turn of a spoon to mix the flavors!

Was thinking about it!
Strawberries wash in very cold water, I add ice cubes in my bowl. Turn the strawberries very quickly in the water and place on a clean cloth.
A scoop of vanilla ice cream tasting.
If you still have the red wine of this soup, made with granite! And yes, the wine has absorbed all the flavors of strawberry and vanilla sugar house.

Beautiful tasting this soup of strawberries Chusclan!

I chose for her Chusclan Ctee slightly spicy, peppery.
